SkyShot Helikite inflates with helium in a minute, and then flies itself up to 1000 feet altitude, with or without wind. It can automatically take 700 x 10 mega-pixel pictures in under 6 minutes. Then you just reel in and go!
SkyShot can be used almost anywhere and can be carried fully inflated in an estate car or van. The 1 cubic metre SkyShot Helikite is only 3ft 3in x 4ft 4in x 5ft 5in (100 x 130 x 165 cm) when fully inflated. Only uses one cubic metre (35cu ft) of safe, inert helium gas.
The unique patented SkyShot Helikite is a superbly stable aerial platform giving sharp photos even on windy days. Takes superb high or low altitude shots.
1. Position digital camera on pan and tilt mount or use a Brooxes AutoKAP rig.2. Set camera shutter to super-continuous mode or switch on the GentLED Auto.3. Un-reel the SkyShot Helikite line and watch it fly the camera high into the sky whilst automatically taking pictures.
The Mini-Skyshot lifts 0.6 lbs (250 gr) in zero wind. That's good enough for an AutoKAP rig with a Pentax Optio. Thanks to its unique design the pull increase as the windspeed goes up. In a 15 mph (Bft 4) wind the pull is some 3 lbs (1.5 kg).
