The Big BEAK makes it possible to use a digital SLR for AutoKAP. It can be set to take pictures for "Yiorgos style" panoramas. In 12 to 15 sec the rig rotates a full turn and takes the 6 pictures necessary to stitch the bottom half of the bubble panorama. The BEAK's Utility Frame is modified to adjust the center of gravity for different SLRs and different lenses. The rig is equiped with the wide Gent-X Picavet cross and pulleys for extra stability of the rig. An extra bracket is included for landscape pictures. The rig includes: - the (modified) BEAK
- a BBGG with gearset
- 4 Picavet pulleys and 2 Brooxes Hangups
- a Gent-X Picavet cross
- an AuRiCo
- a gentLED-Shutter (other means are of triggering the camera are optional)
- a bracket to support the battery (not included) and the AuRiCo
The rig is powered by a 4.8 V battery set. Without the camera the rig weighs 250 grams. The rig comes pre-assembled and the basic settings of the AuRiCo. The camera/lens is not included.
