A few years ago James Gentles (yes, the man behind the gentLED) spend some time to test variants of the Picavet Cross. You can read the results here. The variant that give better results that the standard cross seemed to be a wider cross. In honour of James that cross is now available under the name gent-X. In the picture you see the standard Picavet Cross too. Important: the gent-X can only be used in combination with a set of Picavet blocks or small split-rings.
