I would say a "must have".
I recently built the BCKK with a standard 360 servo. Works OK but... even without touching the remote control transmitter the servo creeps quite rapidly. So when airborne at say 70 mtrs it's a bit annoying that you might make a picture that could have been better when the KAP unit stood still, PAN wise.
Well, this little device does the trick remarkably good. The calibration procedure is easy and installing the Gent360 Anti Creep PAN circuit takes less than a minute. And the result is fantastic. No creepy PAN servo, better control and better pictures in my humble opinion. So this is a "must have" for serious KAPers. Highly recommended, worth your money.
